England Swings Like a Pendulum Do....

A well-remembered tune by Roger Miller back in the day.  Here's the first stanza of the song....
England swings like a pendulum do
Bobbies on bicycles, two by two
Westminster Abbey the tower of Big Ben

And my treasure made for my husband and me by brother Dan the woodwork artist:

This grandfather clock has Westminster chimes imported from Germany.  We don't even hear it chime during the night, unless we have been up and listen to find out what time it us before we go back to sleep.  When it chimes four, I know I have a bit of time to go back to sleep!

And there is my Grandson, Carson....who has developed quite a swing for his baseball team:


Since I don't have any pictures of "swingers" or of a dance team "swing", these are my submissions for BYG Adventures and the word swing for Pondering.  Thanks for hosting, Brenda...there were so many uses of the word in the old dictionary!
