Sky Watch Friday - Kerrville Morning Sun

This is my first time to join Sky Watch Friday.  This is the morning sun coming up over Kerrville, Texas, and was posted by 96 Gun Radio Station last week.

I wake to the still of darkness
And rise to face the day.
With coffee cup in hand,
I walk outside.

The darkness gives way to light
As the skies begin to change.
The air whispers angel breath
From the east side.

The sun is almost risen now
But the beauty of the day
Is held in clouds of golden hue..
I watch it rise.

God issues forth a blaze of light
That makes me stand in awe.
Power and majesty abound
My morning prize.

Have a special Friday...

Linda Kay.
