Ranch Fences

While out and about on Saturday, we found a couple of ranch fences near a horse day care and spa.  ;-)  So I'll join in with Theresa for Good Fences.

These fences were tall and had a large pipe across the top, so the animals were really secure.  These are just a few of the many pampered animals on this large spread of fences and corals.

This last fence is a rather intricate design we found on a little shop in Las Cruces NM.  The building is really pretty as well.  It was advertising Christmas stuff already in September.

Thanks for hosting, Theresa!

Have a Happy Thursday.
Linda Kay

Wonderful fences. I would like some like that.

That first fence was put up with a lot of post pounding. It doesn't look like the posts are set in concrete so they're pounded pretty far into the ground.

sweet youngsters in the first photo. i really like the 2nd type of fencing for horses. my front fence line is similar except it has square mesh fencing instead of the neat triangular pattern. and that last one is lovely!

The Las Cruces fence is a lovely one. And I like the idea of a horse spa. Do they get avocado rubs and oat smoothies?

Pretty fences and horses, Linda. I love seeing animals well taken care of, but this is the first time I've heard of a horse SPA! :-)

I didn't know horses had spas. What is this world coming to? hehe. I did see on the news the other night that some couple in NY I think it was had opened up a gym for dogs... exercise equipment and the whole nine yards.

The horse fence looks good and secure to keep those beauties safe. The design of the second fence is really attractive.

Nice artwork in the last photo, but the fence in the middle is awesome. I've never seen before such a craft-work.

Thanks for your visit and comment :-)
Hope, you will come again.

Great fences for the beautiful horses...

It's much too early to think about or SEE Christmas. I am old-fashioned enough to wish that we could enjoy Thanksgiving BEFORE even talking about or seeing signs of Christmas. Oh Well.

Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Linda Kay, I do not profess to be much of a rancher, so it is no surprise that I've never heard of a horse day care. Ha ha ... I love it! Thank you for your comments on my blog. So your hubby is a collector? Does he have a blog? John

Ooh, I bet you could make a whole book on interesting fences. I haven't thought too much about it before, but your post has got me thinking that there really are so many different types, each holding their own story.

Oh, I love horses.
Reminds me of my childhood.
We didn't own any horses, but I had friends who did.
Great shots of the fences, Too.

I enjoy visiting your blog, even though it always seems I am behind.

Enjoy your weekend!

The horse fence looks like diamond mesh. It gets used around here, too. Beautiful horses!
