Reformation - Martin Luther

Because of this Sunday's proximity to Reformation Sunday, All Saint's Day, it would seem appropriate to share some pictures of the Castle Church where the 95 thesis were posted by Martin Luther.  We took these while traveling in Germany at Wittenberg in 2010.  Have a blessed Sunday.

Some of us silly Lutherans just have to joke about the 95 feces. We're terrible.

Love,

Castle Church is incredible! Those commemorative Bronze doors beautiful and I bet it's equally amazing on the inside, with the height of the ceilings.
Mind you just as impressive as the church is your ability to find exactly the right photo from a trip years ago! :)
Have a great week Linda and thanks for your visit and supportive comment on my #iamperfect post!

I was there earlier this year and couldn't get in because of all the renovation taking place getting ready for the big 500. :-)

How special to get to see that beautiful church in Germany.

Our church (Episcopal) celebrated All-Saints Day... My father-in-law's church (Methodist)also celebrated All-Saints-Day. They recognized all of the members who had died this past year. SO--they recognized my father-in-law --who died last Dec. at the age of 101... What an amazing man. We miss him.

We had a freak snowstorm here in TN over the weekend... I'll blog about it tomorrow.
Hugs,
Betsy
