Fences on Thursday

Here's the first of my fence pictures for this Thursday, the entrance to the Former Texas Rangers Museum.  Prior to this it has always been under construction, but now has a more finished appearance. The tower is in the background.  Note the "no trespassing" signs on the gate to keep out people just being nosy.

And I thought I would add this intriguing photo from Linderhoff in Bavaria, where we traveled some time back.  I think the tree/bush structures on the sides look kind of like a fence, and the fountain is a lovely site to see.

Joining in today with Tanya for Good Fences.  Thanks for hosting!

Nice fences, had to laugh about your second explanation. The green arcades are made to walk through and especially in summer it is magical when you can walk in a green tunnel. But the garden looks beautiful with the fountain in front.

A magnificent fountain, except methinks the horse has had a little too much to drink. :-)

A nice fountain. And the Rangers' fence looks attractive and harmonious with the setting..

That first shot makes me want to be nosy. :-) and I do like that Bavaria shot. I can see fence there.

The entrance in the first photo looks great and that shot from Bavaria is very neat!

A closed gate does the trick to keep me off the ground. Signs like that make me really curious :))

No trespassing signs make me feel even nosier than I would have been otherwise. ;)

How fun, this is so my kind of place to visit. It looks like a Viking with his shield so now I have to further Google this place to check it out.

fences can be fascinating...think I'll write a ooem about one...

A thorny hedge fence can be a much more effective fence.

The gate is nice but I've got to say that last shot was just amazing. What a fabulous place that must be.

love the idea of using Nature's own structures as fences - that place looks amazing.

I don't think I've ever seen horses spouting water into a fountain before. Cool! The gate in the first photo is certainly Texas-sized!
