Saturday Lighthouse - 2/28

I had to really dig for this picture. We have a framed picture on our art wall, but this was taken back in the 35mm days in Door County Wisconsin. I went to Snapfish to see if the photo was out there, which it was, but when I tried to save it back to the computer it came out really tiny. Some time ago, I made up some greeting cards with special pictures on the front and happily had one of this light house. I scanned it in, dropped it into PicMonkey and got it resized, etc. It's not quite the same as the original, but it is still a beautiful lighthouse.

This one was taken on a week in Door County where there are light houses on Lake Michigan. I love this one with the flag flying nearby. It was huge! Have a great weekend.

Good morning Linda Kay, I have been off the radar this past week. A busy week and the snow caused us to lose our computer connection several times. I'm back.

This lighthouse is definitely a pretty one. I am always pleased when I see our American flag flying. America has a challenge to endure all the religious nay sayers in my opinion. I think so many people in America have forgotten what our country was founded on. We live in a wonderful country in spite of it all. Ok, I'm off my soapbox. Smile.

Happy weekend.

Hi, I came to your blog via Lexa Cain's blog hop. Lovely picture. I like lighthouses. They suggest stories to me. When I was a kid, I wanted to live in one. I could imagine all kinds of adventures if I did.

That thing looks like it's built like a tank and could stand up to cat5 hurricane.

I think it's the contrast between the white structure, the blue sky and the trees that makes it so attractive.

I like your lighthouse photo. Our downstairs bathroom is decorated in lighthouse decor. I'm reminded of the gospel song, The Lighthouse.
