Museum Fence

The Pioneer Museum in Fredericksburg is located right along Main Street. This stone and wood fence separates the cars and the street from the museum grounds, where there are many buildings preserved for history. Another Texas fence, Theresa!

Joining in with all the fence pictures today at Good Fences.

Looks like a fence that would have been protecting the Alamo.

Wonderful wooden fence! I love pioneer museums. I've been to the one in Minden, Nebraska - it was interesting and we enjoyed the day spent there very much.

I like that fence. I have been thinking about the gate for my fenced garden and not only would this look great, but I think I might be able to manage making one myself!

The fence seems of an appropriate age for a museum. :-)

I could spend a lifetime just visiting historical sites, one after another. My son wants to study history and teach it in college...it rubbed off.

I wonder if the ground cover is clover? Very pretty with the fence.
