Spring Around the Yard

Polly and I were out on our walk, enjoying the beautiful Spring weather, and we observed many signs of spring in our perennials. She sniffed everywhere looking for postings by other dogs along the way, while I took pictures.
 Salvia
 Succulents
 Esperanza
 Tiny Pride of Barbados
 Dinner Plate Hybiscus
 Hostas
 Yuccas about to bloom

Cactus that keeps having babies.

Just so you know I haven't been just killing time, writing on my blog...note that I do have some packing done. All the books on this book shelf, almost.

And an inspirational quote from one of my Facebook friends this past week....

Be sure to be available for a friend in need today. It's a super special Monday!

That is a great quotation! I enjoyed your springtime yard inventory this morning. Isn't it exciting to see what's coming up and blooming! I do not envy you the job of packing. :-(

As you know from my blog, it's springing here too now. BTW I answered your question about arrows back where you asked it. (I think it was you.)

I've got Yuccas out the yin yang.
Packing is so tedious - wish you well with that.

Glad that you were able to balance the packing with some enjoyment of nature. Wise thing to do. ;)

Beautiful flowers.

Packing a little at a time is easier. You'll be glad you did.

Lovely spring growth! And dogs will be dogs. Yesterday, after taking a couple of pictures of a dog sculpture here (and putting my camera away), I watched a bulldog march straight to the sculpture and sniff at it as if to make sure it wasn't real.

Your spring looks quite different from ours but beautiful in its own way. Are you moving far?

What pretty plants you saw. Spring holds so many delights and I have so enjoyed the flowers and planting flowers in pots and listening to the birdies every day. I just know they are so happy that the weather is so nice. Good luck with all that packing.

I love the spring photos. It's autumn here in Oz and already I'm pining for the warmer weather.

This is a wonderful quote, Linda! Your garden is way ahead of mine. We are still getting some chilly days in Colorado--spring is changeable here.
