Monday at Random

Since I'm vacationing, I have so much to share with you. Here's an entry for Good Random Fun on this Monday.

Good, as in delicious:

This place was recommended to us as the best for fresh lobster dinners.

This little guy was waiting to be selected out of the fish tank below.

And here he is all cracked and ready to eat, along with mussels and corn.

Random:

I think we should buy this for our summer home in Maine. What do you think?

Fun: - Found this on a T-Shirt in a shop in downtown Camden.

We have friends arriving to fill a second bedroom in our house for several days, so we will be taking them for lobster one evening, as well as a trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Pictures will be following!

Have a special Monday, my friends....

I feel a bit sorry for the lobsters to see them waiting for a diner....

I've never picked a lobster out of a tank to eat? We just fish em and bring em home to supper. Boy, they are really packed in that tank, eh. I think if you bought that home, you would honor it by living there year round. It certainly is a beauty, eh.

I usually don't eat whole lobster, as it is expensive here. But it sure does look good!

What a wonderful vacation.

I would take the house if it came with a full time cleaning staff.

As many difficult things as I have done, I still cannot pick a lobster from a tank

Enjoy your company and vacation.

I think if you can get that house for under a 100k you should go for it.

Poor lobsters... they'd be safe from me!

Yes, you should buy that house, and invite me to stay with you for two or three months every summer. Lobsters kind of creep me out, but I'm glad you enjoy them.

Love,
Janie

We visited those places on our New England cruise. The summer house is lovely. Do buy it. I would be happy to rent a couple of rooms on the west wing. Poor Bob!

I want that house too. However, like mom is always saying, "You don't want that because it would be too much to keep clean."

The lobster looked delicious, but now you have me feeling sorry for him.

As much as I like lobster roll - I don't like that lobster is boiled alive. There is no difference in its freshness if they are killed quickly with a knife (there's a soft part on their belly where you can easily kill them with a well placed strike of a sharp knife, and it's instant) right before they go in the pot. Throwing them alive in boiling water is so cruel. That's why I can't find that t-shirt funny, sorry.
Maine is wonderful and I envy you a bit for being there. I would love to go back there.
