Stone fence

So many fences in Texas are made of stone. This particular one caught my eye because of the old cedar tree beside the fence and the nice fountain in the background.

Joining Theresa today for Good Fences. (Theresa, if you would link me, I'd appreciate it.)
Hopefully by the time you are reading this, I will have a better chance of posting and keeping up with the blogs.

Hope all of you (in the US at least) have a super fabulous 4th of July weekend enjoying hot dogs and all the trimmings and the wonderful fireworks.

Linda Kay

Dearest Linda; Wonderful stone fence with big cedar tree☆☆☆ Almost all the fence we see here is wooden ones (except the castle).
Have a wonderful coming 4th of July♪

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

I think most people in the east and midwest are just hoping for a dry 4th.

Oh, I do love a stone fence! This one has some huge rocks in it...it won't be going anywhere for a long time.

Nice job. Looks like the cedar has seen better days.

Oh I love the old stone fence. I would love a stone house.
Thanks for sharing this. It reminded me of old couple old Victorian houses in F.W. they are long gone now. I wonder if I can google some phics. Hmm. Thanks for the memory! XXOO

That is a cool tree by that stone wall and a very nice fountain. We might enjoy hot dogs here but no fireworks as it's to (dangerous) because of our hot/dry weather we've been having.

I think they are made of stone because it was a practical thing to do with the stones taken out of the fields.

Love,
Janie

I might not have noticed the fountain if you hadn't pointed it out.

VERY nice!!! And the shaded, terraced property has a beautiful fountain too. That is a definite added plus.
