The Harbor

It would be so easy to completely overwhelm you with pictures we have been taking of the harbor area of Camden, so I'll just share a few highlights.

Looking across the harbor (Penobscot Bay), lobster boats and sail boats anchored for the evening, ready for an early morning.

At Cappy's with a harbor view for lunch. Jerry had Mussel, Clam and Salmon chowder...loves his fish chowder!

Beautiful flowers at the visitor center. Anyone know what this flower might be?

Having a wonderful time. We will be out looking for light houses soon, so I'll be posting some pictures from that "adventure".

Have a special Friday and fabulous weekend! We will have friends arriving to share some space with us at the house on Sunday evening.

Love your photos!
Could the flower be a dahlia, maybe?
Have a wonderful day!

It's so beautiful. I think this would be a great summer vacation. Wish I were there! ;-) I don't know what the flower is, it almost doesn't look real though.

I looked up the flower and the best I could come up with was the 'PPP'. The Pretty Purple Pflower.

Looks like quite some trip you've been on, just catching up. That must be one of the prettiest visitors centres around and a fish chowder overlooking a harbour looks a perfect place for a rest.
Happy travels!

Wonderful! I love the house in the first picture. I think that your flower is a dahlia of some sort. Hope you are still enjoying! xx
