Breakwater Vineyards Fence

While in Maine, we visited several wineries. One of these was the Breakwater Vineyards at Owls Head. The house and grounds are really beautiful. And I know you are probably really tired of all my rock fences, but I had to get this one for you to show you not only the fence, but the flowers as well.

Pretty unique, right? The flowers in the lower right are Lacecap Hydrangea, so incredibly beautiful, even though they were starting to die out. I thought the fish sculpture in the grasses was also different. Joining in with Theresa today for Good Fences!

I like that stone fence too! I can't see enough fences, Linda Kay. I never been to Maine yet, it certainly is scenic.

Hi Linda, I enjoy seeing rock fences and imagine the hard labour to build them. Beautiful photos and I'm glad you enjoyed your trip 'up north'. :) Thanks for popping by! Pam

and now I shall never be happy until I have my own rock wall/fence.
it's gorgeous!! I love it. the rough rustic look of the stone, with the delicate blue bloom of the flower. It's just beautiful.

So at the new digs are you going to build a stone walled area inside your fenced yard?

The Lacecap Hydrangea are beautiful! I've seen something similar, but I'm not sure if it is the same thing. I just love flowers.
