Portland Fences

On our way south in Maine, we made a special trip out to see the Portland Lighthouse, which I will share with you at another time. We found the fences along the way pretty interesting, so I'll share them with you today and with Theresa for Good Fences!

I know, I know....more rock fences! But how about the beautiful flowers on this house with the rock gate and fence!

Have a wonderful Thursday, Y'all!

Stone, iron and flowers--always a winning combination.

Flowers make for a nicer fence, however it is constructed.

I love New England fences. Lots of stone. That makes them look strong and protective. I like that.

Again some really great looking rock walls and fences. I find the rock walls to be quite lovely. That last home was very nice and did have some lovely flowers.

I don't mind rock fences at all; I actually quite like them. So keep them coming!

I'm attracted to the fences made from natural rustic looking materials such as these stones.

Those are beautiful! I should have spent more time roaming around in Portland. That trip went way too fast and there was a ton of things I didn't see.

Thanks, Linda!
