Lighthouse #3 - Portland Light

Supposedly one of the most photographed lighthouses in Maine, the Portland Light was the last lighthouse shot we secured on our way south from Camden. We drove down some beautiful streets to get to the point.  There wasn't an angle that didn't show off the beauty of this one.

I love the sound of the sea gulls and the water. Hope you can load this one. Linking today with Sally for Blue Monday, again sharing the beauty of the ocean and sky.

Have a peaceful and exciting week ahead. Halloween is just around the corner.

Oh I love it. Brings back fun memories. I've been to Portland.
My Cowboy used to have to go to N.H. every fall on business. I always went. One year we drove and took the kids. It's a beautiful area.
I'd love to go in summer!
Thanks for sharing this.
I hope you can come by this week and see my fun posts. I have Blue Monday post up now.
Have a good week.

That is a very scenic lighthouse. I love seeing photos from the "other" Portland. :)

Gorgeous photos. Everything in Maine always looks bright and blue. Love it, even though I couldn't play the video.

Look at me, fooling around, commenting on blogs instead of working. Bad, bad me. I would like to see more lighthouses. I enjoyed the abandoned lighthouse on Assateague Island. It's been many years since I was there. Visiting Chincoteague and Assateague was a thrill for me. I loved Marguerite Henry's books about Misty the pony. Sadly, she was stuffed when she died, and she's in a museum. I didn't want to see dead Misty.

Love,
Janie
