Trick or Treaters.

Halloween was fun. Just a couple of pictures to share with you....

Carson (right) and his friend Michael Mack (left) chose characters from Harry Potter. I lost count of the kiddos who came to my door, but I went through three large bags of candy before turning my lights out at 7:30. All very friendly and courteous kids, many accompanied by parents or other adults. So cute. The most popular costumes were "The Scream" mask or the Ninja Turtle outfits, or characters from "Frozen".

Each country seems to have their own traditions with kids coming along the houses to get candy. Here we have it November 11th with children singing songs holding Chinese lantarns in their hands.

Interesting..
Down here in our small city there were houses that were safe houses to go knocking on the door for children with one of their parents. We don't do Halloween hardly at all, so this was why.

glad some kids still enjoy it (and parents, too.)

They look like they're having fun! I enjoyed Halloween, both as a kid and as a grown-up.

Halloween is fun for the kids, and celebrations outside of trick or treating are fun for others. We were grinches and didn't hand out candy this year. There are hundreds of kids that do this neighbourhood, and it goes beyond fun for us.

We have a tradition in the St. Louis area that seems to be specific to us. We ask the kids to tell a joke to get the candy. Even most of the littlest kids learn a joke for Halloween.

What's a ghosts' favorite cereal? Booberrys.

I never seem to get home early enough to see what the trick or treaters are like in my area, though I presume there are a lot. Good shots!

It's always nice to have the sweet kids come by and that they are happy with the treats and always saying thank you. They are so cute.

I'm still at the preschool we're inviting my kids. We really do up the patio. We did have 5 dogs. They loved the Milk Bones. Daisy dressed as a pirate. She loves to dress up!
See you tomorrow.
Have a good party and a great week.
