Fancy Entry

Haven't joined in with Good Fences for a while, so when we out driving in the countryside this weekend, I found one to share.

Spectacular entrances to subdivisions seem to be the norm here in Texas now, so this one is a stone fence leading up to stone columns, with a backdrop of a mini stone fence naming the subdivision. Love the live oak trees preserved in the center.

Happy Thursday!

I agree. Texas certainly believes in elaborate entries. Thi one is great for the reasons you mentioned.

Good entrance. You did well. Yes the tree is in the right spot it seems.

I have nothing to show it is winter now. Plus things look so dull to take. Hardly any sun.

All my old pictures. I have shown.

Good for you. You spotted it.

That is a very pretty entryway. The trees really set it off.

That is a beautiful entry. We have a gate to our property but it's a very ordinary farm gate. I was so tempted to have something beautiful but out here, it's best not to advertise money.

The fence makes a perfect foreground frame for the trees.
