Busy Week

We always look for ways to get out and about here in our Fredericksburg, and there is always something going on. Guess what last Friday was....Friday Art Walk. But this time it was sponsored by Hill Country Memorial Hospital. So it was Friday HeArt Walk. We are so blessed to have this facility in Fredericksburg. Check out the website for more info on the hospital. It is extremely involved in the community, recent winner of a Malcolm Baldridge Award, and rated as one of the top 100 hospitals.

1. Here are some interesting displays from our walk.

2. I know we all tire of all the anonymous posts on our blogs, but they are easy to delete. I found this expression of my thoughts:
3. We watched the Super Bowl on Sunday, and although I'm not a genuine football fan, I was really pleased to have Peyton Manning and the Broncos come out as the winners. On Facebook on Monday morning, this showed up on my phone, kinda says it all:
4. We could talk about the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, but what's the point? Will we all be glad when the primaries are finished and we know who the "chosen one" is from each party?

5. Here's how I feel about all of you out there in bloggerville! Have a special weekend.

Nice to have great facilities nearby. We have a few specialists at our small hospital and some really great Doctors, so too, indeed are fortunate. Wow, that is quite a bronze statue and that cowboy is having quite a ride, eh. Your expression of Idiots made me laugh. have a wonderful day.

I really like that first sculpture.

The primary system is the best argument in favour of our Westminster Parliamentary style of government. Election campaigns last a few weeks, that's it.

Great meme.

A new strain of idiots! That's funny. You certainly are blessed to live in a town like Fredericksburg. I have a couple of friends who want to visit there in May. They are both ladies 70 and older. Can you suggest a good link of things for them to do and recommend a nice B and B?

And I think I'm just a tad bit scared to know who the chosen ones will be. Shudder.

I'm a Broncos fan, so I was really delighted to see them win the Super Bowl. They had some funny memes out there. Your #4 was a good one. #5 is so true! Have a great weekend!

I like the art. Every Saturday during the summer, an art walk takes place somewhere near here, but it's so darn hot that I've never gone.

If you feel bored, drive to Dallas and go to the offices of Bluebonnet Waste Control. Be sure to arrive on a weekday afternoon. Say you're there to see Janie's sisters. Then follow them around. Talk non-stop. Tell them repeatedly that I'm brilliant and adorable, and it's a shame they aren't as nice as I am. That ought to cause a ruckus. Oh, and tell the oldest that I promised you she would give you a million dollars, or whatever figure you'd like.

Love,
Janie

When Peyton played for UT, he was the King of Knoxville. We still claim him and I don't even like football.

Your "idiot" quote is PERFECT, Linda.

Have a great weekend.
