Blue (Purple) Monday

Okay, so this isn't the perfect blue, but more of a purple flower. This taken at the Wild Seed Farm east of Fredericksburg on Hwy  290.

I also love the setting. Anyone know what these are, and the yellow flower as well? Joining Jeanne at Backyard Neighbor.

I think the colour combination of these flowers work well - I also like the look of the large wheel against the wall in the background.
It all adds to a very nice photo.

Enjoy your Monday

All the best Jan

Larkspur? Mine are now coming up as fuzzy green plants, but too early for flowers.

No idea, but they are lovely!

I like purple better than blue. I would have a purple car except you need the exact right color of purple for a car. Candy apple purple?

No matter the color, anything from Hill Country is pretty.

Love the setting of this pic. You inspired me to join the Blue Monday blogger. I am going to copy this pic and ask one of my knowledgeable friends who might know.

Hi Linda Kay, Purple is definitely in the blue family. Your photo is very nice. The background of the flowers is a great setting. You have a good eye.

We traveled home from Fl all day so I don't think I will have time to visit everyone. Tomorrow is another day.

Have a lovely week,
xo,
Jeanne

Larkspurs? My memory could be going too. They reseed themselves and are very beautiful.

They yellow might be coreopsis/tickseed. Can't tell for sure though.
