Monday, Monday

This week I finished another layette set for Lutheran World Relief, but you can see it's a bit different from the soft pastels usually used for babies. So many people donate bright colored yarn to the cause, so I decided there might be some woman in Africa or the Middle East, or wherever these items go who might appreciate some beautiful colors for the little one. Thus my "blanket of many colors".

What do you think....too wild and crazy? Joining in today with Jeanne for Blue Monday. Thanks for hosting!

I agree. Bright colors are very welcome in other cultures. We are a nation of pastels and others not so much. It is a lovely work!

I think the colours would go well in the right environment.

I think those bright colors are very cheerful. Great idea. Not everybody has the same taste and I would think the bright colors wrapped around a dark skin would be beautiful! Good job!

Speaking from one who loves COLORS----that one is PERFECT.... I love bright colors. They just make me smile. I think you are wise to make one using those colors... Wherever they go, some family will really be happy for that set.

Hope you have a great week. I published a blog post this morning showing some of our Hostas....

Hugs,
Betsy

Is there such a thing as too bright - I don't think so, bright and cheerful and I'm sure will be so well received, wherever in the world they end up!
