My Flowers, Part 2

The cooler weather is bringing lots of blooms to life in our yard. Here's the next challenge on identifying these:

Just a hint on this last one. The flower blooms in the evening of one day, then starts to wilt on the second day, falls off on the third.

And a chuckle for today:

Have a special day, and a great weekend!

No clue on the flower IDs, but I love the shampoo warning!

I know the first one, purple fountain grass and that's it.

I'm not good on flower names, but they sure are pretty!

Fountain grass on the first one, I've seen the yellow ones and can't think of the name, the cactus I have no clue, and the purple flowers, I think begin with a v, but can't remember the rest!!! ;-) Did you tell us the names of the ones you posted before?

That is so interesting that you are farther south and having cooler weather. The purple flower is behind our fence and it bloomed earlier this year, but no longer. I'm going to switch shampoos, too!

The flowers are a delightful sight!

Is the last one a hibiscus? After is falls to the ground it should be called a lobiscus.

I don't know one flower from another...but I'm thinking about using dish soap instead of shampoo...hahhaa...cute.

I just took a photo at a park of the purple spiked plant/blossoms.

The yellow is an esperanza, the last one is a trumpet flower.

I'm sure I don't know, Linda. But that last one bears a striking resemblance (and odor?) to the "stinker" here in the National Arboretum. :-)

Pretty blooms! Guess I'd better stop shampooing in the shower, too! LOL
