Quilt Show Winners

Quilts, Quilts, and more quilts. My post today is for all you crafters, stitchers, and quilters. Our town hosted a quilt show and silent auction, and many people came from miles around to view the beautiful quilts on display.

I've done a little bit of quilting, but nothing to compare to the intricacy of this applique and quilting. They were works of art. Sharing today with Jeanne for Blue Monday.

Have a special day!

Linda Kay

I have always loved quilts and have been lucky enough to have an aunt of hubby's give us two over the last few years. They are our family treasures. I love the ones here. That must have been a lovely show.

Those are beautiful. I like all of them, but the one with the bird with her babies and the dove surrounded by the sunflowers are my favorites!

I embroidered two quilt tops thirty years ago. Both are in a basket and have never magically turned into quilts.

Wow---such talent... I love quilts and have several (even one from my mother--that she made many years ago), but I do NOT quilt.... Those truly are amazing. SUCH TALENT... IF I could choose one of the ones you showed us, I would choose the first one... Those colors are AMAZING --and I love the design.

Hugs,
Betsy

Hello Linda Kay, I am sorry this comment is so late. We are visiting our son and his family about a 6 hour drive from our home and he is moving into a new home with our help. There has been no time for my computer.

The quilts are so beautifully done. Especially the appliqued bird. I also was impressed with the purple mountain quilt. It is even snow capped.

The flower show did have a lovely aroma with so many different flowers. Thank you for your comment as always.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Jeanne
